Sandi Grivat | PCC APR
Sandi is a leadership coach
and communication consultant.
She helps leaders grow across critical domains: communication, self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management, so they can lead from a place of grounded optimism and achieve desired results. Sandi also serves as a consultant to executives establishing or enhancing their communication platform, process and programming.
Sandi holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation with the International Coach Federation, is accredited in Public Relations (APR) with the Public Relations Society of America, and is accredited with the Hay Group emotional intelligence instrument (ESCI). In addition, she is a certified facilitator of the Change Style Indicator (CSI) and the Influence Style Indicator (ISI) assessments through Discovery Learning and the Conflicts Dynamics Profile (CDP) assessment through The Center for Conflict Dynamics.
Before starting a coaching and consulting practice in 2011, Sandi was the Vice President, Communications / Executive Coach for the Executive Vice President of GE Financial / Genworth, where she translated an expertise in communications into effective coaching and skill building. Prior to moving to Richmond, VA, she led a team of communication professionals at Fannie Mae, during prosperous and tough times, to manage the company’s leadership development, employee engagement and social responsibility communications. Before that, she worked with economic development leaders in Arlington, VA to promote the DC suburb as a premier location for business. A native of south Louisiana, Sandi began her career in 1994 with the Lafayette, LA Chamber of Commerce, where she helped organizational leaders increase effectiveness in generating support for the Chamber’s priorities.
Sandi earned certificates in Leadership Coaching and Facilitation from Georgetown University and a Master of Science in Public Relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
